A postcard from the Åland Islands philatelic bureau - wishing Merry Christmas !
While it’s a very mundane postcard when seen superficially , it is infact a collectors item - a postal stationary !
The card is printed by the postal department with prepaid postage ( also printed ). So the entire card is eligible to be exhibited in a Christmas theme , including all the pictures on either side.
Though the front has a Christmas stamp and cancellation on it , it is not a Maxicard , because the stamp is not similar to the picture and the cancellation also is irrelevant.
