Philippines- Singapore Joint issue for the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations
Date of issue : 16-05-2019
To symbolize the two nation’s diplomatic relations, the stamps feature the popular butterflies
Cethosia luzonica or the “Luzon lace wing butterfly” which represents the Philippines,
Pachllopta aristolochiae or the “common rose butterfly” to embody Singapore.
The diplomatic relations between both the island nations and founder members of ASEAN was established on 16-05-1969
